Mabon

Mabon can mean two things: a celebration of the autumn equinox, and the Welsh mythological figure Mabon ap Modron, whose name means "divine son". As a holiday, it is a pagan festival that marks the second harvest and the balance between day and night around September 22nd in the Northern Hemisphere, but it also refers to the autumnal equinox, or the "pagan Thanksgiving".
