“Petrichor,” a word coined in 1964, describes the magical scent of rain falling on dry soil. Now, you can bring that feeling into your home with a limited series of photographs by the talented local Mission, BC photographer, Ellen Nguyen—exclusively available at The Magenta Rose House.
The collection includes:
- Triptych Set: 5x7 and two 8x6 prints in Vintage 1960’s frames, professionally framed by Frame It on First in Mission, BC.
- Forest Pair: Two 18x10” prints in Vintage 1960’s frames, featuring the most popular forest scene from the triptych, enlarged and reprinted for dramatic effect.
Ellen Nguyen shares, “I’m the girl with the camera, always. I love capturing the special moments in my everyday. Some of my favourite images are the ones captured when I wasn’t looking. If a photograph doesn’t tell a story or make me feel something, I feel like I’ve missed my focus.”
