The Good Witches Wares
ABOUT THE WITCH & ARTIST
My name is Brooklyne, the sole creator of The Good Witches Wares. I have always been an artist and that is where my business began. In 2013-ish i began selling my original artwork of drawings and paintings. I started off slow with selling to friends and family. In 2017 i signed up for my first market "The Cathedral Village Arts Festival" in Regina and soon after that i was the featured artist for the Ness Creek Music Festival where i also participated as a vendor. I struggled with moving my original pieces at markets, so i began screen printing on t-shirts and bandanas. The clothing was a success but the craft of screen printing is extremely tedious and kinda stressful, not to mention expensive to get into. I ended up taking a break for a short while and continued my commissions. In 2020 i invested in my canon pro 100 printer and a illustrator software and began designing prints. I got so much joy out of this as i was laid off from the pandemic and could do my passion full time. I designed my own website, opened a etsy shop and started taking social media seriously. I learned so much from this period of my business, from marketing yourself, cost of products, and sourcing materials when the world was shut down. This is when i started my path of witchcraft "officially" and wanted to offer more than just my artwork. I wanted to craft witchy goods and bring the world of witchcraft to people. I began making soy candles with themes from the craft. Today, I have my candles available at five different locations in Regina, Saskatoon, Weyburn, and Chilliwack. I do a few markets a season and i am beginning to offer spell candles, herbal blends, and more. Thank you for being here and fueling my passion!
