Petrichor

Petrichor: a word coined in 1964 meaning the scent of rain fallen on dry soil.

This is an absolutely beautiful limited series of photographs taken by a very talented local photographer here in Mission, BC; Ellen Nguyen that will be exclusive to The Magenta Rose House.

The first triptych is a 5x7 and (2) 8x6's in Vintage 1960's frames. They have been professionally framed by Frame It on First here in Mission, BC. 

The second pair is (2) 18x10” Vintage  1960's frames. The forest scene from the 1st triptych was the most popular so it’s been enlarged and reprinted in this pairing  

I'm the girl with the camera. Always. Based in Mission, BC, I love capturing the special moments in my 'everyday'.  Some of my favourite images are the ones captured when I wasn't looking for them.  If a photograph doesn't tell me a story or make me feel something, then I feel like I've missed my focus. When it comes to my camera, I'm always open to explore, experiment and learn."
